CHEMICAL PEEL

Chemical peels are a cosmetic treatment used to improve the appearance of the skin. During the treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes it to blister and eventually peel off. The new skin that emerges is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Chemical peels are effective for reducing fine lines around the eyes and mouth, treating wrinkles caused by sun damage and ageing, improving the appearance of mild scars, treating certain types of acne, reducing age spots, freckles, and dark patches such as melasma, and overall improving the look and texture of the skin.
